The Metropolitan City of Venice and the Province of Rovigo are linked by the thousand-year-old history of the lands and the people who inhabit them. From the ancient Adriatic Eneti to the glorious Most Serene Republic of Venice, passing through the Roman Empire, this vast area between the Po and the Tagliamento have seen the landscape change over time.

From a marshland once uninhabitable to a flourishing agricultural area with IGP and DOC products and famous tourist destinations known around the world. Lagoons, rivers, forests, pinewoods, beaches and small hamlets partially characterise the landscape of our forefathers to this day.

Lands of Venice wants to share a wealth of unknown beauty, unexplored pockets which represent the uniqueness of a land which is changed, but which has still managed to maintain the values and merits of the Venetians.

The beaches are the best known destinations, the holiday destination of most tourists; Venice represents the historic city of excellence and the towns and hamlets of the countryside represent the added value of this part of the Veneto region.
